I'm only happy when it rains
The weather was so perfect yesterday, I should have known it wouldn't last. It's cloudy and rainy and only about 68 degrees today. I cannot remember the last time that I had a 'sunny' birthday. Despite the fact that May is usually warm around here, the temperature always drops for my birthday. Not that I mind; I prefer cold weather, but would it be too much to ask for a cool but dry day?

Plans for today? Well, hubby and I were gonna do dinner at this quaint little French restaurant downtown and sit on the tables outside and sip wine. But unless it stops raining? That's not gonna work. We'll either have to eat inside or go somewhere else. I'm leaning towards the latter, because the ambience of the restaurant would totally be killed by eating indoors.

Unbeknownst to me, hubby purchased tickets for Cirque du Soleil's Kooza tonight! I seriously wasn't expecting to see it, and it was a really nice surprise.

(I've actually been living with the "circus" for about 3 weeks now. Why, you may ask? Well, they set up their tents on Washington and Broad, right across street from Sarah's ballet school and for some idiotic reason the ballet school allowed the circus to use their parking lot. So, needless to say, there's NO PARKING anywhere.)

So, yeah. Dinner, (at a yet undecided location, all depending on the weather) cirque du soleil, and then to the airport to pick up my sister. Then tomorrow I'm planning to have a proper party and have lots of people over and possibly be drunk for the rest of the weekend. ^_~

Also? Am I the only person around here who can't wait for the Sex and the City movie, or are there any peeps on the flist who actually watched the show? *curious*

If Mr. Big and Carrie don't get married and live happily ever after I might lose all faith in the world! =P

Either way, I'm planning a girls night out with my friends Kimmie and Kat. We're so going to opening night and then out to a martini bar, because we're lame and foolishly girly like that. ;)
